How to Clean your Oil Painting on Canvass

You can clean your oil painting on canvas at your own home. This will help you save in professional cleaning charges for about several hundred dollars. There are several different safe methods for cleaning depending on the types of stain and dirt has accumulated on the painting. Here are the several cleaning methods that can be applied to your painting, but not all of these methods might be essential to clean your painting. Make sure to stop the cleaning process once your painting is already clean.

Directions

1. If it is possible, remove it first from its picture frame. Whenever you remove the nails, always keep track of which one will go into each hole so that you can put the frame back exactly on its original position after you have finish cleaning .

2. Position the painting on a smooth surface. Examine it for peeling or cracked paint. The cleaning process may damage the painting if the paint is peeling. If the paint is not peeling, use a low pressure vacuum cleaner and a soft brush to clean the dust in the surface. Remember to use only a soft brush or the soft bristles of the brush over the painting. Always check and see to it that paint flakes are not being vacuumed off the painting. Stop the cleaning and bring the painting to a professional restorer if you are certain that the paint flakes are vacuumed.

3. When using a soft brush to dust the painting, you must rub it over the painting using a small application of force. It should remove all the dirt and dust that are not cleaned using a vacuum. Be careful also not to stretch the canvas for this will cause peeling and cracking of the paint.

4. Into a cup of lukewarm water, put 5 drops of lemon juice then get a cotton ball and wet it in the solution. Before applying it to the painting, be sure to squeeze it first so that most of the water will come out of the cotton ball and then apply it gently onto the painting. Be careful also not to crack the paint or stretch the canvass while doing this. Apply it continuously into the painting until one area is moist and start applying the cotton ball across the painting. Always check the cotton ball for peeling paint. If there is an evidence of peeling, stop the process.

5. Moisten a soft sponge with plain water and gently apply it to the painting to wipe off the lemon solution. Allow the painting to dry.

6. In a cup of lukewarm water, melt half a teaspoon of sodium carbonate crystals. Again, moisten a cotton ball in the solution and gently apply and wipe it across the painting. Remember not to stretch the canvas while doing this. To remove the sodium carbonate solution, moisten a soft and clean sponge with plain water and wipe gently to the painting.

Using Thin Plywood to Patch Missing Kitchen Tiles
Usually, thin plywood is used as subflooring. It is the material on which flooring is being attached like vinyl perhaps. For some time, a flooring tile like vinyl would become loose or gets damaged and then will be need to remove. This will leave you with uneven floor.
Not only is it unattractive, but it can also cause you to trip over while you walk across the floor. Plus, this may leave the other tiles to come loose. So to avoid this, you may place thin plywood on the gap. This will be a good patch to get your floor even. Thin plywood is the best material to be a temporary replacement to your damaged tile flooring.
Cutting a thin plywood tile:
You may opt to temporarily create a thin plywood tile to fill in the gap. You need to measure the sides of the gap. Select thin plywood that will certainly fill in the depth of the missing vinyl tile. You need to have the exact measurements so as to make your floor look okay with the temporary thin plywood tile. If you have the plywood replacement too high than the vinyl tiles, you may stumble over it, which can be dangerous. After having the right piece to be your temporary tile, you have to cover the back surface of the plywood tile with mastic so as to stick it to the underlayment flooring.
Sealing and patching the vinyl instead of having the temporary thin plywood tile can be also a good idea to have your floor retaining its original look. Vinyl floor tile may still be patched back together. You do not have to throw it away. But if it is hopeless, then that is where the thin plywood tile can be used as a good temporary substitute.
In cases where a great number of your vinyl floor tile gets lifted off or are damaged, I might suggest you just go for permanent plywood flooring. This would be far better solution for you vinyl tile floor problems. Plywood flooring is better than these pieces!
Not only is that plywood a strong material. It also cost less than the ceramic or vinyl tiles. Once you got the final plan of having the plywood flooring installed, you may want to go for those laminated kinds of plywood. These materials will have high water resistance and are good flooring materials.

Do not ever show them that you are a trade buyer, there will be a possibility that you might happen to just lose your consumer protection rights. Then you should never directly offer cash while still in the negotiation process. This will possibly help you gain a lot of discounts.
First you have to negotiate and ask for the possible discount on the piece when paying credit card or cheques, once agreed, take out your card or your cheque book, and then pause for a while as if thinking, then suddenly as them if there is a possibility that you could have another discount if you are paying for cash.
